Man Arrested After Taking Selfie With Stolen Phone

Criminals usually are not the brightest people.  But Ashley Keast of Britain has to be one of the dumber ones.

After Keast broke into a home stealing thousands in jewelry, an iphone and a car he decided what could be better than taking a selfie with the stolen phone.  Surprisingly he was smart enough to at least swap out the sim card first.  But, he did not make sure the phone was signed out of the owners Whatsapp account.  So when he sent the selfie to one of his friends, he also sent it to all the contacts previously saved on the phone.

Philly Phanatic Causes Bomb Scare

As if we needed anymore reason to hate the Philly Phanatic, the bizarre green mascot of the Phillies baseball team.  But he managed to add yet another reason to the list.

The Phanatic caused a bomb scare delaying the start of the Phillies vs Braves game.  Apparently the Phanatic was launching hot dogs at fans outside the park.  To make sure the dogs did not open in flight they were wrapped in duct tape.

Three of the dogs were left outside the stadium prompting fears and a call to the bomb squad.  The bomb squad detonated the dogs sending mustard and sausage everywhere as a safety precaution.

The sad thing is I am sure it cost more to buy three hotdogs inside the stadium than what it cost the entire bomb squad to respond and blow them up.

Drug Dealer Calls 9-1-1 For Safety While Completing Drug Deal

Alejandro Melendez of Clevland called 9-1-1 to report he feared for his safety because two armed men were watching.  Melendez told police his location and hung up.

Of course the dispatcher called Melendez back and he politely asked the dispatcher to hold on.  Without placing the call on hold, Melendez then clearly completely a drug transaction with an unknown person.

The dispatcher sent an officer to the location Melendez had originally given when he first called 9-1-1 and the police found him there.  During a search of Melendez they found cocaine in his pocket.  Melendez was arrested and booked.

Man Breaks into Restaurant to Cook Nachos Causes Fire

After a night of partying it up most drunks want some nasty greasy food and go to extremes to get it.  Most of us settle for Dennys but not Khory Gagner of El Jepel.

After drinking 40 oz of Jagermeister and 16 beers Gagner could not find a restaurant that was open.  So what would any clear thinking man do in such a situation?  He broke into a restaurant to make Nachos.  And have a few more beers while they were cooking.

Problem was Gagner set fire to the restaurant while doing so.

The next day an employee recognized Gagner from the security tapes.  When police went to apprehend Gagner he tried to flee, but tripped on his baggy clothes.

Believe it or not Gagner had another criminal case and was sentenced to serve community service for the two unrelated crimes.
